It’s Handmade
All our natural soap bars are handmade. No
two bars will ever look exactly the same; nor are they always made by the same
person. Colors and scents may also vary slightly from order to order. Sometimes
the “batch” may seem to turn out better than others. This is all normal and
should be expected when the items are made by hand. Of course, care is always
taken to ensure that the general quality is similar, but some variations will
likely occur.
General Product Information
Our natural soaps are made with a base
of natural ingredients including: coconut oil, canola oil, olive oil and palm
oil. Our soap may also include essential
oils, herbs, fragrances and colors for added appeal. They have been
designed to have a generous, soft lather. Our natural soap bars are detergent
free, therefore they are extremely mild.
How is our natural soap
different, and why?
You will find noticeable differences
between our vegetable soap and commercial detergent soap bars. Our natural soap bars do not contain
any synthetic solidifying agents: this makes them a softer bar. You may
also notice that occasionally your new soap bar is extremely soft or oily;
don’t be concerned, this is normal. The soaps are first made with water and
oil. After the soap is made, a drying (or curing) time is required. A minimum
of three weeks of curing is recommended; the more drying time the better. The
soft oily effect will go away and a hard bar will result.
